What's it all about:

Welcome to Why Live The Dream, a Jonas Brothers fan fiction by Meaghen Louise. Please do not steal my ideas and characters (besides the Jonas Brothers, you can steal them. lol).

This story is about a girl who lost her father when she was eight years old, and how she deals with that with the support of her best friends... The Jonas Brothers! Ivory tells the story from her point of view. She mets new people, new loves, and rediscoveres something that was always there. Will she be able to deal with her friends budding fame, or will she come crashing down? Will she ever tell her friends the truth about how she shut out the death of her father. Are her constant flashbacks and sudden crying going to make people worry for her or affect her daily life? Well, why don't you read and find out!

Chapter 1: My Life

Hello, my name is Ivory. I will be telling you my story of knowing my best friends in the entire world. I do not really care that they are famous it really does not make a difference. This is my life knowing the Jonas Brothers.

Today is June 8, 2oo8, summer vacation has just began, but it is nothing like a vacation. I have been with my favorite brothers in Ireland these past days. We have been all over that area. The Jonas Brothers have been on tour with Avril Lavigne. I can not wait to get back to the U.S., but this is fun.

"Ivory, did you take my socks?", asked a stressed Nick.
"No, why would I take your socks?", I replied.
"I am missing socks.", says Nick as he leaves the room grumbling.

If you do not know Nick, he hates it when people take his socks. He always counts them to make sure no one has stolen them, it is quite enjoyable.

As I was reading a magazine in my hotel room I was bursting out in laughter. Things that would not be funny to any normal person were very funny to me. The articles always make me happy! There were ones like 'Jonas Brothers Forgot Mandy Existed', 'Miley and JB Are Over', and the funniest one was 'Joe Jonas Dating Mariah Carey'. Oh, how people wish they knew what was going on in there lives every 5 seconds.

"Ivory, it is time to go out to eat.", Joe says as he walks into my room.
"I'll be in out in one second.", I replied.
"Hurry.", said Mrs. Jonas.

I grabbed my purse and we were out the door. Today we are taking a break from tour, but the fans were just as loud as if we were at a concert. We walked outside and they were trying to get autographs and everything else they could get there hands on. At least it is not as bad here as it is in the States.

When we got to the restaurant, it was so gorgeous. I love it here, it has the best scenery, we got an outside table so we could enjoy the scenery as we ate our food. This is wonderful, but lets go back to when we were little kids sitting in the back yard playing Barney.

Spring 1998
"I love Barney!", yells an eight year old Joe.
"Why don't you go marry him then.", jokes a ten year old Kevin.
"Ha, Barney wouldn't want to marry Joe, he's weird." said I, who was six.
"Let's play rock stars.", said a five year old Nick.

If you can do math then you know that in present time I am 16, Joe is 18, Kevin is 20, and Nick is 15.

Back to my daydream:
"No, we play that all the time.", said Joe slightly whining.
"I know I like to play it.", said Nick getting a bit mad.
"Let's play with dolls.", said I.
"Dolls are for girls.", said Kevin while crossing his arms.
"Nick, do you want to play dolls?", I asked tugging on his arms.
"No, I want to play rock star.", he said yanking away.
"Let's play Barney Rock star!", said Joe laughing.
"O.k.", said Kevin and Nick.
"What about dolls?", I said becoming angry that no one wants to play dolls.

"Ivory, you haven't touched tour food.", my daydream was interrupted by Mr. Jonas talking to me.
"Oh.", I said as I began to eat.
"So, who wants to go check out the shoes here?", says Nick trying to break the silence.
"Not me.", said Kevin trying to eat some noodles that wouldn't stay on his fork.

The rest of the dinner was quiet besides Joe throwing food at Nick resulting in all of us having to stay in the hotel for the rest of the day. When we got to the hotel I ran to my room and started blogging for the day.

Today I was thinking of when me, Nick, Kevin, and Joe were little kids. I enjoyed the good times when only I knew who they were. Ireland is wonderfully beautiful, to bad I am stuck in the hotel thanks to Joe. I know a lot of people read my blog, but they read it to hear of the Jonas Brothers, well, for once I would enjoy someone to comment about how they enjoy that I am enjoying myself in Ireland and all over the world. Well, I know that will never happen.
~Ivory

I soon had many comments, I knew what they would say and did not feel like reading them. My life was a dream, but then why was I so depressed?
