I had put my laptop away to take a nap. I was planning on having a long nap, but Nick came in about ten minutes after I had fallen asleep.
"Ivory? Are you sleeping?", he asked.
"Well, I was.", replied I.
"Sorry, are you mad at me?", he asked.
"What? Where did you get that idea?", I asked.
"Well, your blog, Joe thought you were mad at him because he threw food, and I thought you were mad at me because I accused you of stealing my socks, and Kevin-", I stopped him.
"I am not mad at anyone, I just was mad everyone read my blog to hear about the Jonas Brothers. I don't like being called that Jonas girl. It kinda hurts my feelings.", I told him.
"Well, you are not the Jonas girl to the people that matter, so that should not bother you.", he said.
I knew this was the truth I just didn't want to realize it. I felt like my life was horrible, but I am getting to do things most people never get to do in there entire life. What was wrong with me.
"Ivory, stop dazing off.", he said.
"Sorry, I do that a lot don't I?", I asked.
"Yes.", he said as he picked up my laptop.
"What are you doing?"
"Posting a blog."
He didn't talk after that besides a few times when he asked how to spell something. After he was all done he left. I was eager to read what he had wrote, so I looked at the bulletin he had just posted to the world.
Dear Fans,
My friend, Ivory, does not enjoy it when people call her things like the Jonas girl and she would appreciate it if you stop. You guys rock without you we would not be here or where we are in our careers. Have a wonderful Sunday. We will be back in the States in a few weeks. Get ready for Camp Rock, due out 6-20.
~Nick Jonas
I felt like an idiot, he was cleaning up my mess. So that the magazines would not write headlines like 'Jonas Girl Mad At the Jonas Brothers'. I owed him, I owed him big. I will never be able to pay him back or Kevin and Joe for everything they have done for me. Why do they always clean up my messes? I would be sick of me by now.
It was nine so I decided to go watch some T.V. with Frank 'cause he was going to bed in twenty minutes. We watched Scooby Doo and then his mom told him he had to go to bed. I was siting to the bed reading one of my favorite online Jonas Brothers fan fictions by Jade Murray when Kevin plopped down beside me and started talking.
"Hey Ive, what's up?", he asked.
"Nothing, I am just bored.", I replied.
"Usually we are up until one in the morning, it will be good to go to bed at ten.", he said starting to start a conversation.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Your birthday is in two days aren't you happy about that?", he said and i had remembered that I forgot.
My birthday was on June 11, I can't believe I forgot. They would trow me a big party maybe that would get my spirits up. My parents will probably send me something for my birthday, but I would have to wait till we got to the Jonas house to get it. We won't be at the Jonas house until late on June 11. We would go back to the States for the Camp Rock premiere then go back to tour with Avril.
"Oh, yeah I forgot."
"How do you forget your birthday?", he said laughing.
"I am going to get some sleep O.K.?"
"O.k. you need it.", he joked as he gave me a hug.
I went over to Nick's room, Joe was in there too, and told them both good night and they gave me hugs. I went and told Mrs. and Mr. Jonas good night and went to bed.
What's it all about:
Welcome to Why Live The Dream, a Jonas Brothers fan fiction by Meaghen Louise. Please do not steal my ideas and characters (besides the Jonas Brothers, you can steal them. lol).
This story is about a girl who lost her father when she was eight years old, and how she deals with that with the support of her best friends... The Jonas Brothers! Ivory tells the story from her point of view. She mets new people, new loves, and rediscoveres something that was always there. Will she be able to deal with her friends budding fame, or will she come crashing down? Will she ever tell her friends the truth about how she shut out the death of her father. Are her constant flashbacks and sudden crying going to make people worry for her or affect her daily life? Well, why don't you read and find out!
