When I woke up the next morning at 5:30 there was a box of chocolates at the foot of my bed. Was I really that heavy of a sleeper? Oh well, I had chocolates. I ate two and then read the note:
Ivory,
I am sorry if you are sad. I am sorry I dragged you along with us, I should have just let you stay in the States, I just wanted to be able to see you everyday, you are my best friend, and I am lost with out you.
~Nick
I feel closer and closer to Nick everyday. I can't wait until we get back to the States, am I home sick? Maybe that is why Nick gave me the chocolates, maybe he knew I was home sick before I even did.
I went out to the living area of the suite and looked at the schedule. Today we had to get ready to be on the plane at 8. Then we were headed to Paris, they were going to sing at the Eiffel tower.
You may wonder where everyone is, right? They are all downstairs practicing, like they do everyday at 5 in the morning. I usually don't go, I find it boring to go and watch them do the same thing I ave watched them do so many times before.
I went to my room and I began to pack. As I was packing I picked up my scrapbook and began to look through it. Here we go again with the flashbacks.
Summer 1999
We were all in the car on the way to one of Nick's recitals. He loved being in plays he would be practicing for one everyday. Now I was 7, Nick was 6, Joe was 9, and Kevin was 11.
"Mommy, I want to be on the T.V. with Barney!", cried Joe.
"You could do that.", said Mrs. Jonas.
"Kevin keeps pulling my hair!", I screeched.
"Paul Kevin!", his mom said and he immediately quit.
"
My mom was sitting in the front seat, but she was crying. This is about the years when I realized my father was dying.
"Mommy, what is wrong?", I asked my mother.
"Nothing.", she said turning back and forcing a smile on her face.
Remembering that brought me to tears. As I was crying I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in.", I said while wiping my face dry.
It was Kevin.
"What's wrong?", asked Kevin.
"Why aren't you practicing?", I asked avoiding the question.
"I forgot my guitar tuner."
"Oh."
"You still didn't tell me what was wrong."
"I was thinking of my mom and father."
"Father?", he said surprised like I shouldn't think of him because he was dead.
"Yes, I'm sad he is gone, and I want to be with my mom."
"Oh, I see.", he said as he pulled me into a hug.
"You should go."
"Bye, I love you.", he said as he left.
He meant that in a brotherly way, just so you know. After he left I finished packing and went to the food bar downstairs. While I was eating someone came up to me and started to talk to me. He was very stunning.
"Are you the girl from the Jonas blog?", he asked.
"Have you seen my picture somewhere?", I asked shocked he knew me.
"The Jonas Brothers posted a picture that said 'My Best Friend'."
"Oh, yes I am."
"I like your blogs they are creative."
"Thank You."
Was someone telling me they liked my blogs 'cause they were creative? I was so happy inside, and outside. This guy was very handsome, I loved his dark brown eyes, and wavy brown hair. He reminded me of Joe, but he had a completely different personality.
"So what's your name?", I asked him.
"Robin, call me Rob.", he said smiling.
"I'm Ivory, you can call me Ive, if you want."
"I like the name Ivory."
"Where do you live?", I said suddenly getting depressed 'cause I was in Ireland.
"Utah."
"Like United States Utah?", I asked in shock.
"Yes, I am on vacation."
"That is cool."
Right then Nick came running in saying we were going to be late.
"Can I have your cell phone number?", Rob asked.
"Sure, don't put it on the web.", I said jokingly as I gave him my number.
"Bye."
"Bye.", I said as Nick was pulling me away.
As we were walking in the hallway Nick stopped me and wanted to talk to me.
"Why were you crying?", He asked concerned.
"How did you-", I was cut off.
"Kevin told me."
"Kevin."
"Yes."
"Oh, no reason."
"Fair enough I am being nosy."
"Nick, it wasn't about you."
Nick always thinks everything bad is about him. If I were to stub my toe and say ouch, he would run in and say he was sorry for leaving what ever it was in the way. Even if he didn't leave it there.
"Good.", he said.
"Nick, you are a good friend.", I said as I hugged him and ran to go and get my stuff ready to go on the plane.
When I got into my room I had noticed I had a text message, it was from Rob. I had just met him and he is already sending me text messages.
Ive,
I just met you, but can't get you out of my head. When will I ever be able to see you again?
~Robin
Wow, he couldn't get me out of his head. I wanted to text him back, but I had to go get on the plane. The whole plane ride I spent sleeping. That is pretty much all I can do on a plane, I get plane sick.
When we got off the plane we drove to the Eiffel Tower so that they could do sound check. Since there is nothing to do during sound check I decided to text Rob back.
Rob,
I am sorry i didn't text you earlier I am a very busy person. Well, my friends are very busy people, I hope you understand. Anyway, I will be back in the States next week for the Camp Rock premiere, but I don't know where I will be after that I know the burning up tour begins July 4. Maybe we will stop near where you live? Who knows, I do know I will see you again. Trust me.
~Ivory
Nothing could keep me away from that boy. He was gorgeous, and I think he likes me. I hope this all goes well if not, well, let's not get into that. I was on the trip of a lifetime emotionally and physically. Could my life get any crazier?
What's it all about:
